Between 2023-2024, three British Columbia Health Authorities—Fraser Health, Interior Health, and Vancouver Coastal Health—developed Planetary Health organizational strategies, with the aim to guide and inform each organization’s efforts and priorities in creating a climateresilient, sustainable and low-carbon health system.
This playbook provides background information and implementation resources designed to address environmental sustainability in organizational readiness.
The Organizational Readiness Playbook compiles resources to answer these questions, so that organizations can move forward strategically. It provides a framework for completing a high-level readiness assessment & identifies priority areas of focus & opportunities to increase the visibility & impact of sustainability efforts.
