Elena Pascuet is the Manager, Planning & Development at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH), where she manages the organization’s Environmental Sustainability Program and its dedicated sustainability team. She established the hospital’s first formal sustainability function, secured dedicated resourcing, and embedded environmental stewardship as a strategic priority within TOH’s corporate plan. Elena cochairs the multidisciplinary Environmental Sustainability Council and oversees implementation of the hospital’s multiyear sustainability strategy, including governance, performance measurement, and participation in national benchmarking and climateaction frameworks.
In parallel, Elena manages the Project Delivery Office for the New Campus Development, one of Canada’s largest health-care redevelopment initiatives, ensuring that sustainability objectives are fully integrated into capital planning, governance structures, and project delivery. Elena holds a Master of Science degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Ottawa. She is a certified Project Management Professional, accredited through the Project Management Institute.
